Mar 23, 2021 (newstodate): Iceland will be happy to see the Latvian carrier airBaltic returning with seasonal services in summer 2021.
The carrier has scheduled its first flight to operate from the start of the summer schedule, March 28, 2021.
airBaltic made its debut on Iceland with the opening flight on May 28, 2016, offering two weekly rotations with Boeing 737-300 aircraft, replaced by Airbus A220-300 aircraft from the summer 2019 schedule.
airBaltic later extended the program to continue until January 31, 2020, slated to be restarting again already on March 3, 2020, thus approaching year-round services.
But - then coronavirus struck...
