Mar 18, 2021 (newstodate): One Boeing 737-400 last operated for Lithuania's GetJet Airlines is finding a new home in Mexico.
The aircraft entered the fleet of GetJet Airlines in May 2016 but has now been acquired by the US global aviation consultancy company ACC Aviation, contracting Aeronautical Engineers of Miami, FL. to convert the aircraft into freighter including the addition of a cargo door plus modification of the main deck to carry cargo containers or pallets of up to a capacity of 23 tonnes.
After conversion, the aircraft will be delivered to the Mexican passenger and cargo airline Aeronaves TSM on a lease contract.
