Mar 15, 202 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic is cautiously preparing for reopening flights on the number of international extra-EU routes long suspended during the coronavirus pandemic.
Plans are now to reopen flights from Riga Airport to Moscow and St Petersburg from March 28, 2021, with four weekly rotations on each route using Airbus A220-300 aircraft.

Also from March 28, 2021, airBaltic will restart flights from Riga to Tbilisi and Tel Aviv, and flights to Kiev will be resumed already from March 17, 2021.
