Mar 15, 2021 (newstodate): Aeroflot is a frequent operator at Copenhagen Airport despite the sustained suspension of passenger operations between Moscow and Copenhagen.
-Aeroflot is currently operating two weekly all-cargo charter flights into Copenhagen Airport, and currently the shipments comprise China-manufactured corona-test sets for Danish school children required to perform continuous tests as a precondition for attending physical classes, a source close to the operations tells newstodate.
-On the return flights, Aeroflot lifts shipments of Norwegian seafood trucked from Oslo into Copenhagen Airport for delivery in Beijing and Seoul, the source says.
On LinkedIn, the Danish logistics and forwarding company DSV has published news on a series of 11 all-cargo charter flights in March by Aeroflot from "Asia" to Copenhagen Airport, with the handling of the sixth flight on March 17, 2021.
On the passenger side, Aeroflot added a second weekly rotation on February 27, 2021, on its routes to Stockholm and Helsinki, while the reopening of flights by Aeroflot to Oslo and Copenhagen is still pending, with no opening date announced.
