Feb 19, 2021 (newstodate): Lithuania's Vilnius Airport saw its cargo volumes slightly up in January 2021.
A total of 1,165 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled at the airport, an increase by one percent, y-o-y.
Actually, the volume handled in January 2020 was up by 13.45 percent, making this year's performance rather promising.
In 2020, Vilnius Airport was also the second-largest airport measured in cargo volumes in the Baltic region with a total of 14,476 tonnes, and was alone among the region's airports to see growth after growing 3.6 percent, y-o-y, in volumes handled.
