   According to The International Bureau of Aviation, the price for acquiring a used Airbus A380 is now only 50 percent of what was required prior to the outbreak of the Covid-190 pandemic.
   Contributing to the drastic fall in residual value of the aircraft is also the decision by Airbus in Februiary 2019 to stop production of the aircraft after the final delivery in 2021.
   In total, the order books for the Airbus A380 closed with 251 aircraft, 123 going to Emirates.
   Singapore Airlines was first to take delivery of the Airbus A380 October, 15, 2007, and the production of the aircraft peaked at 30 per year in 2012 and 2014.
