Feb 22, 2021 (newstodate): Hot on the heels of the Spanish LCC Vueling announcing new flights on the route between Billund Airport and Barcelona is Ryanair with a competing offer.
   Ryanair is thus to launch flights on the route from July 1, 2021, with two weekly rotations at Billund Airport.
   Already from June 18, 2021, Vueling is also to launch twice-weekly flights at Billund Airport to Barcelona, in addition to flights on the routes to Malaga and Alicante.
   The route between Billund and Barcelona is already to be operated by Norwegian with two rotations in the summer schedule.
