Feb 18, 2021 (newstodate): Latvia's Riga Airport came off to a rather weak start in cargo volumes 2021.
   A total of 1,931 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled in January 2021, a decrease by 13.6 percent, y-o-y.
   Cargo volumes were actually up 7.3 percent to 1,251 tonnes, but this was outweighed by a drop in mail volumes by 36 percent to 679 tonnes.
   By contrast, air mail volumes at Riga Airport increased by no less than 23 percent, y-o-y, in January 2020 making the comparison difficult.
