Feb 03, 2021 (newstodate): The Polish carrier LOT is defying the current downturn in aviation with plans for expanding its services to the USA.
   LOT is thus scheduling the launch of new non-stop flights between Krakow and New York John F Kennedy from May 2, 2021, with a weekly service using Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
   And it does not stop there: plans are also popping up for resumption of flights between Rzeszow and New York Newark, suspended in 2020 as the COVID-19 struck, but slated to return from March 29, 2021, with a weekly rotation.
