Feb 02, 2021 (newstodate): Tallinn-based company Ospentos International has named a new CEO with effect from February 1, 2021: Valter Veedler.
Mr Veedler has been with the company since January 2017, serving till now as Instructor Road Feeder Services.
Prior to this, Mr Vedler's career spans almost seven years with Tallinn Airport as Ramp Handling Manager from May 2010, as well as seven years with DB Schenker from October 2002, ending in the position as Product Manager Airfreight.
Till now managing the operations of Ospentos' operations since 2006, Haiti Arendi will remain a board member of the company but plans to focus on the management of the Tallinn-based technology company Qstep which provides new-generation Software-as-a-Service platforms for air cargo handlers, eCommerce logistics and new postal service companies.
Set up in Helsinki in 1986, Ospentos Oy was redesigned in 2004 to serve the international airline community in Finland, the Baltic States, Belorussia, Ukraine and Kaliningrad.
To further enhance the service concept, Ospentos International Ltd was next established in Tallinn 2006, specializing in air cargo handling and trucking for a large portfolio of European and global airline customers as well as the freight forwarding community.
