Feb 12, 2021 (newstodate): Helsinki Airport will greet a new airline on the monitor from June 2021: Animawings.
The new Romanian carrier will introduce flights between Bucharest and Helsinki with two weekly rotations using Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
The coming new route marks Animawings' debut on the market for scheduled services, having so far focused only on charter flights from Bucharest to leisure destinations in Egypt, Turkey, Greece and Tanzania.
Animawings received its AOC in July 2020 and now operates a fleet comprising only one Airbus A320 aircraft while leasing additional capacity from its Aegean Airlines owning 25 percent of the stake in the carrier.
