Feb 24, 2021 (newstodate): Greenland represents a special case in these times of Covid-19, impacting on Air Greenland's  Atlantic flight offerings.
   In contrast to many other markets, Greenland is not in a lock-down, having managed to steer basically clear of the pandemic.
   Passengers from Greenland to Denmark are thus free to book outgoing flights, but Greenland has closed down all non-essential entry into the country which also means that passengers departing from Greenland cannot count on being allowed back into the country at least till after April 18, 2021, that is the current timeframe.
   Air Greenland is today a provider of air services to the Greenland government, offering three weekly rotations on the trunk route between Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, and Copenhagen Airport.
   The sustained air traffic by Air Greenland is essential to the provision of imports of food and other crucial commodities from and via Denmark.
   While the Atlantic flights are thus now restricted by the Government, Air Greenland's domestic air services continue unaffected as scheduled.
