Feb 19, 2021 (newstodate): Iceland will be happy to see Austrian Airlines back during the coming summer schedule.
The carrier will launch flights from Vienna to Keflavik from June 27, 2021, offering one weekly rotation on Sundays, and adding a second flight during the period July 17-September 7, 2021, on Tuesdays.
Earlier this year, the British LCC Jet2.com also announced its decision to extend its winter operations to operating flights and city breaks from Manchester Airport to Iceland throughout Summer 2021.
The period will cover April-October 2021, with two weekly rotations between Manchester Airport and Keflavik with Boeing 737/Airbus A320 aircraft.
On the Transatlantic lanes, Delta Air Lines has been planning its return on the route from New York in summer 2021, with five weekly rotations against daily services earlier provided. And with Boeing 767 rather than Boeing 757 aircraft.
Flights from Minneapolis are not, however, currently on the monitor for summer 2021.
It still remains to be seen, however, if the plans by Delta Air Lines will hold...
