Feb 16, 2021 (newstodate): The Norwegian aircraft engine MRO provider Aero Norway AS has named a new Sales & Marketing Manager.
   Taking up the position is Evren Akca, with the company since November 2014 and formerly serving for more than three years with the Turkish company Pratt & Whitney Engine Test Center in Istanbul.
   Originally, Aero Norway was SAS' engine overhaul center that was closed down in 2012 and later established by Pratt & Whitney as its engine maintenance center.  
   Aero Norway AS operates a 14,500 m2 facility with the capacity for up to 120 CFM56 engines per year with streamlined workflow processes to repair 16 engines consecutively.   
   The Company employs around 100 technicians and engineers with a further 50 personnel responsible for customer support and administration.
