Dec 09, 2021 (newstodate): Plans are in the making for a new carrier in Romania to become the first Boeing 787 operator.
   Named Hello Jet, the carrier has been established by Christian Rada who is also behind Blue Air, and the new airline received its AOC on July 26, 2021, with one Boeing 737-500 aircraft - earlier operated by Maersk Air, Estonian Air, Sterling Airlines, and Jet Time - leased from Blue Air's fleet.
   While little info is currently available on Hello Jet, plans are to launch long-haul operations to African, Caribbean and Asian leisure destinations from early 2022 with leased Boeing 787 aircraft.
