Dec 09, 2021 (newstodate): Finnair has bolstered it role in the AJB venture with the opening of new routes in 2022 to Dallas and Seattle.
AJB, or Atlantic Joint Business, includes cooperation on Europe-US routes operated by American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus.
Since 2013, Finnair has been participating in AJB with fellow oneworld alliance members American Airlines, British Airways and Iberia to provide customers with more flight choices, better connections and better pricing on transatlantic routes.
Also, Finnair's new routes from Stockholm to New York and Los Angeles has become part of the AJB cooperation.
Besides AJB, Finnair also participates since 2014 in the Siberian Joint Business project with American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia and Japan Airlines, where Finnair's comparatively liberal access to flights from Helsinki to Asian destinations over Russia's transpolar routes to Asia provides it with a key asset.
