Dec 14, 2021 (newstodate): After some years of turbulence and challenges in the industry, Aviator Airport Alliance sums up 2021 as an important year of growth and new and strengthened partnerships.
-Aviator has had a successful run in 2021, with plenty of new partnerships and a contract renewal rate of 90 percent, the company says in a release.
-We are delighted to extend and add to existing contracts with our long-term partners including SAS, Finnair, EasyJet, FedEx, UPS, and many others. At the same time, our team managed to sign new partnership agreements with Ryanair, a new Norwegian airline Flyr, and a new Icelandic low-cost airline PLAY.
-Compared to 2020, the number of turnarounds increased at all Aviator’s stations in 2021. In Helsinki, Finland, the number grew from 3,942 turnarounds in 2020 to 9,280 in 2021; counting all Norwegian Aviator stations together numbers were up from 20,088 to 29,131, and in Sweden, turnarounds handled by Aviator rose from 19,284 to 23,738.
