Nov 04, 2021 (newstodate): Member of the IAG, the Spanish low-cost carrier Vueling has expanded its services from Denmark's Billund Airport.
Starting from today, the carrier is offering flights on its fifth route at Billund Airport, with two weekly rotations to Paris Orly Airport.
Vueling first opened flights at Billund Airport to Barcelona, Malaga and Alicante from June 18, 2021, soon adding also flights from Billund to Gran Canaria.
Overall, Vueling has been active in the Nordic markets in summer 2021.
In Norway, Vueling has been offering flights to Barcelona, and new routes in summer 2021 connected Barcelona with Bergen and Stavanger, both served earlier.
Sweden also saw the return of Vueling flights in summer 2021 between Barcelona and Gothenburg, suspended since September 2019.
Vueling's Nordic summer schedule also comprised flights from Helsinki in Finland to Barcelona starting from June 1, 2021.
