Nov 10, 2021 (newstodate): Responding to the growing demand for US travels as the market opens, SAS is updating its traffic program and increasing the number of flights between the USA and Scandinavia.
During the coming Christmas and New Year season, SAS will thus operate up to 100 weekly flights between Scandinavia and US destinations.
From November 8, 2021, SAS has returned flights on the route from Stockholm to Miami; from today, November 10, SAS is back also on the route from Copenhagen, and from tomorrow, November 11, flights will resume from Oslo. SAS will then be offering daily flights to Miami from Scandinavia during the winter season.
SAS is also increasing the number of departures to New York, operating twice daily from Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm from this month.
Today, SAS operates daily from Copenhagen to Chicago, and from mid-December the carrier will start flights from Stockholm to Chicago.
Finally, SAS will also increase the number of flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington DC from Copenhagen over Christmas and New Year.
