Nov 02, 2021 (newstodate): Finnair is now announcing the reopening of flights on more routes to China.
From November 2, 2021, the carrier will thus return flights on the route from Helsinki to Guangzhou with two weekly rotations, and flights from Helsinki to Nanjing will be resumed from November 9, also with two weekly rotations - both routes served with Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
Finnair first launched flights to Guangzhou from September 2, 2005, while flights to Nanjing were opened from May 13, 2018, both with three weekly rotations for a start.
In October, Finnair returned on its route to Beijing with two weekly rotations, while flights to Shanghai have been increased to seven weekly rotations in W'21.
Before the coronavirus pandemic, Finnair was also online with flights from Helsinki to Chongqing from May 9, 2012, and to Xian from June 14, 2013.
