Nov 15, 2021 (newstodate): One Boeing 757-200 aircraft has found a new career after 16 years with Icelandair.
The aircraft entered service with Icelandair in 2005, but was stored in March 2020 as demand for capacity fell due to the coronavirus.
Now, the aircraft has been converted to freighter at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, China, between April and November 2021, and was flown to Spokane International Airport on November 11, 2021, to be painted in the livery of DHL, its new operator.
The aircraft first entered service with Iberia in 1994.
