Nov 12, 2021 (newstodate): The Czech carrier CSA is flying through heavy turbulence and is still bogged down by debts and uncertainties.
Anyhow, the carrier's network still comprises flights from Prague to destinations including Paris, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Moscow and Kiev with only remnants of its former aircraft fleet, now reduced to one Airbus A319 and one Airbus A320 aircraft.
However, undaunted by the dark prospects the carrier has revealed ambitious plans for its summer 2022 schedule comprising also the resumption of flights to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Bucharest, Helsinki, Madrid, Malta, Keflavik, and Rome.
This will require intake of more aircraft that will be secured by its owner, SmartWings.
In the meantime, CSA and its owner are still negotiating with creditors about restructuring of the carrier.
