Nov 26, 2021 (newstodate): As societies are slowly getting to grips with the Covid-19 pandemic and the crucial role of air cargo has manifested itself in aviation economics, Copenhagen Airport is gearing up its air cargo organization again.
The airport is thus now cautiously re-staffing its Air Cargo Team, seeking a new Commercial Air Cargo Manager to support cargo business intelligence, re-develop the CPH Cargo Community, drive digitalization, support account management, and promote route development with attracting more direct cargo traffic.
Reporting to Morten Mortensen, Copenhagen Airport Snr Director Airline Sales & Route Development, for marketing and sale of the airport as a cargo destination, the CPH Air Cargo Team was set up in 2018, headed by Lars Gotfredsen as Copenhagen Airport Air Cargo Manager from June 11, 2018, and expanded by another two members.
But as the Covid-19 brought business down, only Mr Gotfredsen remained in the position.
Adding power to its air cargo team, Copenhagen Airport now has the lofty ambition to become the largest air cargo hub in the Nordic region, the recruitment ad optimistically says.
