Nov 17, 2021 (newstodate): The Ukrainian charter carrier Azur Air Ukraine is preparing to take delivery of a Boeing 777-300 aircraft in December.
The aircraft will become the first of its type and the largest passenger aircraft with Ukrainian registration after Ukraine International Airlines abandoned plans for acquiring two aircraft of the type.
The airline will primarily allocate the aircraft to serving Anex Tours, an affiliated company, in flying Ukrainian tourists to Mexican and Latin American leisure destinations.
Today, Azur Air Ukraine's fleet comprises a total of 10 aircraft, including seven Boeing 737 and three Boeing 767-300ER.
Behind the Azur Airline Group are the Istanbul-based OTI Holding and the Russian tour operator Anex Tour that owns a charter airline Azur Air, several hotels and an incoming agency in Russia.
