Except for January and February, volumes in 2021 have shown positive growth; but the process gained momentum in September 2021 with a total of 1,106 tonnes against only 769 tonnes in September 2020 - an increase by 43.8 percent, y-o-y.
Since early September 2021, Wamos Air has been operating a thrice-weekly all-cargo service between Shenzhen in China and New York with an Airbus A330-200 aircraft routed via Tallinn Airport for fueling and handling of import and export cargo shipments.
The service is driven by e-trade exports from China to Europe and the USA, with the flights routed via Tallinn Airport in both directions.
