Oct 28, 2021 (newstodate): Starting from October 27, 2021, Ryanair has implemented electric handling of its aircraft operations at 11 European stations.
Among these are Oslo Airport and Gothenburg Airport, where the carrier secures zero emissions turnarounds through its cooperation with the ground handling partner Menzies Aviation, supported by the respective airports' implementation of the pertinent electric infrastructure to keep the GSE park rolling.
The turnaround process incorporates electric baggage tractors, electric baggage belt loaders, passenger steps, electric ground power, and electric push back tractors - all now gone fully electric.
