Oct 29, 2021 (newstodate): The new Norwegian long-haul carrier Norse Atlantic Airways is to set up its US HQs at Fort Lauderdale with plans for its coming US/Europe services.
In 2022, the airline will thus commence flights on routes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Oslo, Paris, and London.
In the plans are also flights from Oslo Airport to Ontario near Los Angeles, and to Newburgh near New York - both secondary airports serving major destinations at competitive airport charges.
Norse Atlantic Airways has applied with the DOT for approval of flights to North America from summer 2022, and the final approval is now expected already within the coming month.
Earlier aiming at launch of services by December 2021, already, plans are now to see start of services by late Q1/2022 or early Q2, 2022, ending up with all 15 Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft in the air during next year's summer season.
