Oct 06, 2021 (newstodate): Booming volumes of mail and express parcel volumes is driving a Ukrainian express delivery company to set up an own airline.
Assuming the pretentious name Supernova Airlines, the coming new carrier will operate flights from Kiev Boryspil Airport and Lviv Airport to deliver international air cargo shipments, notably e-trade commodities.
So far, no news is available on route network, size of fleet and aircraft types to be operated.
Behind the initiative is the privately-owned Ukrainian company Nova Poshta Global company, set up in 2001 with post offices located in cities and towns throughout the country, and large freight offices located in the industrial zones of regional centers.
The company also operates in Georgia and Moldova.
