Oct 27, 2021 (newstodate): The Malta-registered aviation holding company Airhub Aviation has now completed the registration of its first Airbus A340-300 aircraft, ready for operations in the charter and ACMI markets.
Formerly operated by Air Tahiti, the Airbus A340-300 has been zero-LOPA converted by Aviatic MRO at Siauliai International Airport and will commence commercial operations in November 2021.
The second A340-300 aircraft is currently amid the registration process, expected to be completed also in November 2021, and in the plans for the company is a fleet comprising up to six Airbus A340 aircraft by the end of this year.
With Aleksandr Celiadin as its Chairman, Airhub is a subsidiary of the Lithuanian company Getjet Airlines that in 2019 became the first Baltic airline to introduce wide-body aircraft in the form of Airbus A330-300 in February 2019..
