Oct 14, 2021 (newstodate): Finnair is planning for returning flights on more passenger routes to Japan after the easing of the Covid-19 disruptions.
With the next summer 2022 schedule, the carrier will be back on the routes from Helsinki to Fukuoka, Sapporo and Osaka.
Flights to Fukuoka, first launched in Spring 2016, will reopen from April 26, 2022, after having been suspended since October 2019.
Flights on the seasonal route to Sapporo, first opened on December 15, 2019, but suspended again from March 15, 2020, will resume from April 2022 with two weekly rotations, and the route to Osaka, first launched in June 2003, will also be served during the summer 2022 schedule with three weekly rotations.
