Oct 29, 2021 (newstodate): Armenia is soon to see a new national airline lifting off: FlyOne Armenia.
The projected carrier with Mircea Maleka as its CEO has now obtained its AOC, and plans are to start flight operations soon on a network to comprise destinations in Europe and Asia.
For at start, the network will include flights from Yerevan Airport to Moscow, Tehran, Lyon, Kutaisi, Damascus, Krasnodar, Paris, Istanbul and Tel Aviv.
FlyOne Armenia's fleet will consist of Airbus A320 aircraft, leased from its mother company, Moldova's privately-owned LCC carrier FlyOne.
