Oct 05, 2021 (newstodate): Airbus has landed its first-ever aircraft order from Turkmenistan.
   In January 2021, the country's government authorized Turkmenistan Airlines to proceed with signing an order for delivery of two Airbus A330-200F aircraft converted from passenger version.
   Based on this, Turkmenistan Airlines has now placed a firm order for two A330-200 P2F converted aircraft, with deliveries slated for 2022, making Turkmenistan Airlines the first operator of this type in Central Asia.
    Operating a fleet of 27 aircraft, eight IL-76 cargo aircraft included, Turkmenistan Airlines has so far been a staunch Boeing customer.
