Jan 07, 2021 (newstodate): In a transaction managed by Skyworld Aviation, two Avro RJ100 aircraft formerly operated by the Swedish regional airline BRA have found a new owner in the UK.
CFS Aero, based in Warwick, has thus acquired the aircraft with a focus on their Honeywell powerplants.
CFS Aero, a leading maintenance and repair facility with EASA Part 145 and FAA Part 145 approval, specializing in Honeywell ALF502 and LF507 engines, has taken over the OEM rights for these engines from Honeywell to support a global network of 146 and Avro operators.
In 2019, BRA decided to phase out its fleet of 10 jet aircraft, intensifying instead its use of 12 ATR aircraft in the fleet.
