Jan 13, 2021 (newstodate): Sweden's second-largest airline, BRA has been stuck on ground since April 2020 - but is now preparing for a return to the skies later in Q1, 2021.
The carrier has obtained financial support in the form of state-granted credits allowing it to reopen services on seven of the routes on its schedule.
After temporarily stopping services on a number of routes from March 23, 2020, the decision was made to cut operations from April 6, 2020, also to the remaining 19 routes, including flights to nine international destinations.
Behind the problems was, of course, the declining market for air transportation as the Coronavirus dug in.
