Jan 06, 2021 (newstodate): Stockholm Airport may be connected to Beirut, in Lebanon, with two options in 2021.
First out was the German carrier Sundair announcing its launch on the route from December 11, 2020, with one weekly rotation using Airbus A320 aircraft.
Now, a second player has announced plans for flights on the same route from spring 2021: Northern Airlines.
The carrier was established in 2019 with plans for a fleet starting out in 2021 with one Boeing 737-800 aircraft, growing to three units before the end of this year.
Northern Airlines will launch services to Beirut and Malaga as its first destinations served from Stockholm Airport.
Behind the project is Dlovan Sandi as Project Manager, bringing in experience from SAS and Norwegian.
