Jan 26, 2021 (newstodate): SAS has launched a series of all-cargo flights from Copenhagen to Sao Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport, in Brazil.
Approved by Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency as "non-regulated international cargo", the operation is carried out with a SAS' Airbus A350-900 aircraft on one of the longest non-stop flights so far operated by the carrier.
The operation carrying spare parts for the automotive industry is driven by undisclosed customers, with the first flight on January 22 and another set up for January 29, while one weekly rotation is expected to be operated till the end of February 2021, with a 24-hours stop at Sao Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport before the return flight.
