Jan 26, 2021 (newstodate): Russia has now announced that the ban on flights since March 2020 to Finland, Vietnam, India and Qatar will be lifted from January 27, 2021.
For Finland, Aeroflot will be back with two weekly rotations on the routes to Helsinki from Moscow and St Petersburg, respectively.
At the same time, Russia will also allow fights from the same countries, and Finnair earlier announced that flights to Moscow and Petersburg will be resumed by the turn of this month.
Finnair will thus return services to St Petersburg from January 28, 2021, while flights to Moscow will be resumed from early March 2021, starting out with three weekly rotations and adding a fourth rotation from March 22, while daily flights would be on the schedule from March 29, 2021.
