Jan 13, 2021 (newstodate): The Estonian Tallinn-based carrier NyxAir did not keep its SAAB 340B freighter for long.
NyxAir took in the aircraft, manufactured 1991, on a lease contract with Jetstream Aviation Capital only on July 2, 2020, after its conversion at TABY Air Maintenance in Orebro, Sweden.
Plans were to deploy the aircraft for NyxAir's cargo charter operations throughout Europe.
Now the aircraft has instead been placed by Jetstream Aviation Capital with UK-based RVL Aviation for ad-hoc cargo charter and RVL's operations on behalf of its major international logistics customers.
Miami-based Jetstream Aviation Capital, founded in 2010, specializes in commercially-operated regional turboprop aircraft, and is the largest global owner of Saab 340 and Saab 2000 aircraft and associated spares and engines.
