Jan 29, 2021 (newstodate): With its future still very much in the balance, Norwegian is still planning for its summer 2021 schedule.
One tentative point on the agenda is thus the opening of flights from June 5, 2021, between Helsinki and Belgrade with Boeing 737-800 aircraft and one weekly rotation.
Already in the schedule, and open for bookings, are services to Belgrade from both Oslo and Stockholm - in both cases in head-on competition to Air Serbia, while Norwegian would so far be alone in serving the route from Helsinki after Air Serbia suspended services as the Covid-19 struck.
Helsinki would probably be most happy with new routes by Norwegian at Helsinki Airport where Norwegian was long the second-largest operator, after Finnair.
