Jan 25, 2021 (newstodate): The Danish company Nordic Aviation Capital, the world’s largest regional aircraft lessor, has announced the appointment of new Independent Directors to its Board alongside a simplification of its governance structure.
The NAC Strategic Advisory Committee has been dissolved, and the Board has instead been strengthened as the sole governing body.
Rod Sheridan, Justin Bickle, Phil Bolger, Martin Cooke and Paul O’Donnell will join the Board with immediate effect.
Martin Moller, Founder and Chairman, will retire from the Board, along with Executive Directors Jim Murphy and Tom Turley.
Patrick de Castelbajac, NAC Chief Executive Officer, and Patrick Blaney, Non-Executive Director, will remain on the Board, while Jim Murphy and Tom Turley will continue in their executive roles.
NAC owns and manages a fleet of 490 aircraft with commitments for another 71 aircraft, taking the fleet to 561
And NAC is the world's #1 regional lessor with the fleet representing eight percent of the global regional fleet and 29 percent of the regional fleet owned by lessors.
