Jan 25, 2021 (newstodate): Lithuania will soon see the launch of a new carrier - Jump Air.
Established in early 2020 with HQs at Vilnius, Jump Air plans to build a fleet of ATR72-200/-500 passenger and cargo aircraft for AMI, charter and ad-hoc services with a specific focus on Africa and the Asia/Pacific markets.
The carrier is till awaiting its AOC and AOL, but the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic caused it to postpone its launch of services from Q3, 2020, to Q1, 2021.
Heading the company as accountable manager is Dovydas Jurgelevicius, earlier serving with aviation companies including KlasJet, and Jet Maintenance Solutions.
