Jan 11, 2021 (newstodate): Russia is aiming at production of 37 Superjet 100 aircraft in 2021.
According to Russia's Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, 2020 saw the total volume so far of Superjet production passing the 200-units level, with 12 Superjet aircraft delivered to customers - now consisting only of Russian airlines including Rossiya, Azimuth and Red Wings.
The Superjet 100, Russia's first post-Soviet commercial aircraft, made its maiden flight on May 19, 2008, and its first commercial flight on 21 April 2011 with Armavia.
