Jan 19, 2021 (newstodate): Lithuania will see two options for flights from Vilnius to Turkey from this summer.
For the first time in the Baltic region, the tour operator Tiketa that is part of the Avia Solutions Group plans to launch flights with own aircraft on a daily basis between Vilnius and Turkish leisure destinations, with details yet to be revealed.
Turkish Airlines has been operating flights to Lithuania since June 11, 2013, when the carrier launched services on a triangular route Istanbul-Vilnius-Tallinn-Istanbul.
Later, from October 26, 2014, Turkish Airlines split the triangular service, offering instead direct flights between Istanbul and Tallinn as well between Istanbul and Vilnius.
