Jan 21, 2021 (newstodate): Following a tender process, Finnair has confirmed the renewal of its contract in Scandinavia with Menzies Aviation for another three-year period.
The contract comprises the handling of Finnair at Oslo Airport, Stockholm Arlanda Airport, Gothenburg Airport and Copenhagen Airport where Menzies will provide a full package of passenger, ground handling and de-icing services.
The contract will cover some 7,000 annual rotations by Finnair at the four Scandinavian airports.
Menzies first moved into Scandinavia by providing ground handling services for Finnair flights at Stockholm and Oslo airports from September 30, 2007, through the acquisition of Finnair's handling company Northport, adding ground handling services at Copenhagen Airport from early in 2008.
