Jan 20, 2021 (newstodate): Already strong in seafood logistics, DB Schenker is to add fresh impetus to its efforts in Norway's general cargo market.
Headed by Morten Wurgler as DB Schenker Head of Air Freight, Cluster Norway, the air cargo division has named a new Manager General Cargo from November 2020: Tommy Sjovik who brings in experience from 20 years with companies including TNT and Jetpak in Norway.
-We are indeed strengthening our focus on the general cargo market in Norway, having made a strategic decision to grow our market share in this segment, says Mr Wurgler.
In a Nordic perspective, DB Schenker is also now calling applicants to a new position as Healthcare Product Manager Nordic within Air Freight.
The successful applicant will be responsible for working out a business plan and market entry strategy to secure a structured development and investment into the Healthcare vertical, the job posting reads.
-You will be responsible for the economic performance and target achievement of the Air Freight Healthcare segment and develop a strategy to build up volumes in respective healthcare segments including medical devices, biopharma, vaccines, etc.
The coming new DB Schenker Healthcare Product Manager Nordic may be stationed in Stockholm, Copenhagen or another Nordic destination.
