Jan 29, 2021 (newstodate): The Danish company Scan Global Logistics has taken new steps to firm up its position in the US market.
   Announced on January 28, 2021, Scan Global Logistics Group has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Air and Ocean activities of one of the largest transportation and logistics companies in the US, Werner Enterprises.
  With the new strategic relationship, the two parties will offer comprehensive international logistics solutions to Werner’s existing and future North American customers.
   Throughout the current global pandemic, Scan Global Logistics Group with Allan Melgaard as Group CEO has been expanding, entering markets in new countries, increasing existing and new activities in Austria, Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Spain, Germany and Sweden.
   Among the five largest truckload carriers in the United States, Werner has its corporate headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska alongside offices in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
