Sep 16, 2020 (newstodate): The Ukrainian charter carrier Azur Air Ukraine has obtained permits to launch flights between Ukraine and USA.
The carrier is thus free to start flights from Kiev to New York, Miami and Chicago from October 1, 2020, for an unlimited period, with two weekly rotations - if warranted by the market.
In the fleet of Azur Air Ukraine are three Boeing 737-800, one Boeing 757-300 and three Boeing 767-300ER aircraft that would be able to fly the routes non-stop, albeit with reduced passenger loads.
Behind the Azur Airline Group are the Istanbul-based OTI Holding and the Russian tour operator Anex Tour that owns a charter airline Azur Air, several hotels and an incoming agency in Russia.
