Sep 08, 2020 (newstodate): One Boeing 737-700 aircraft formerly operated by now-defunct Danish charter and AMCI airline Jet Time has found a new service life with a Romanian low-cost airline.
The aircraft registered in Romania will be operated by the country's low-cost carrier Blue Air after a transaction managed by the Icelandic provider of technical and engineering services ADG, Aero Design Global.
On behalf of the owner of the aircraft, the leasing company Air Lease Corporation, Air Design Global supported the owner with DOA solutions combined with CAMO support for the aircraft.
In 2021, Blue Air will operate only Boeing 737NG and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft of which orders have been placed for seven units, one of which has been delivered but grounded.
The ex-Jet Time Boeing 737-700 is the first of its type in the fleet of Blue Air that currently comprises also eight Boeing 737 Classic and 10 Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
