Sep 04, 2020 (newstodate): With the first service on October 3, 2020, Norwegian will launch flights on a new route connecting Vilnius, in Lithuania, and Bergen, in Norway.
Flights will be operated with two weekly rotations using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Norwegian claims that the new route is "completely new" at Vilnius Airport - which is however not true..
Wizz Air was actually first to operate the route from May 2012, pulling out again after two years, however.
For Norwegian, the new route marks the cautious reopening of flights after the long Covid-19 stand-still; already flights from Oslo to Vilnius and Palanga have been resumed.
