Sep 07, 2020 (newstodate): The new airline project in Moldova, HiSky is still struggling to get things right, and start operations.
The carrier has thus again pushed back its expected start of services from September to October 2020, after having originally planned for launch of flights by April 2020 already.
According to the revised plans, the airline will be offering flights from Chisinau to Dublin, London and Paris.
HiSky Moldova, managed by Iulian Scorpan as CEO, has signed a long-term lease contract with Air Lease Corporation for one Airbus A320-200 aircraft as the first aircraft in the fleet of the Moldovan startup airline.
